To update you on what has happened with the Borders Deaf & Hard of Hearing Network (DHHN). The final documentation for disbanding the Borders Deaf & Hard of Hearing Network (DHHN) as a charity has now been submitted to OSCR and we await their approval.
The British Red Cross have been given permission by OSCR to use the DHHN logo and name (minus the charity number). All the DHHN equipment and cupboards are now installed in the British Red Cross office in Galashiels. The Red Cross have set up the Borders Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service which incorporates the Borders Deaf & Hard of Hearing Network (DHHN) and they are going to offer a drop-in and 2 week trial home loan service for equipment from 3rd February, at their office at 1 Wheatlands Mill, Wheatlands Road, Galashiels, TD1 2HQ.
The telephone number is 01896 751888 and the new e-mail address is: [email protected]
As from Saturday, 30th January, the normal DHHN e-mail address will cease to be operational
