Meet on Cuddyside at the March Street Bridge at the Base Camp unless otherwise stated.
You can view the exhibits at base camp including beekeepers and willow workers and you can speak to the Recorders from The Scottish Wildlife centre too.
At the Scout Hall you can view SEPA's interactive flood model and have your flooding questions answered.
If you are a keen wildlife explorer you can pick up a pack at base camp and carry out your own surveys.
04.15 – Dawn Chorus on the Cuddy - Can you be an early bird? Join in this early walk and experience the magical dawn birdsong of Venlaw Community Woodland and The Cuddy before the town comes to life. Wrap up well and bring binoculars if you have them. Suitable for Adults and older children meet in the Swimmng Pool car park at 0415, approximately half an hour before sunrise

11.00 - Electro Fishing Display - Salmon is not the only fish that can be found in the Cuddy. Join Dr Campbell from Tweed Foundation to discover how they sample and record fish in the river.

13.30 - The Great Snail and Slug Hunt - If you thought that slugs and snails were rather boring prepare to be amazed. Find about the secret life of slugs and snails and discover how many kinds there are living in Venlaw Wood and along the Cuddy. The hunt will be led by Adrian Sumner, who has been recording slugs and snails for well over 40 years, and who is a Council Member of the Conchological Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
14.00 - Flowers on the Cuddy - Join Barbara Sumner and discover the beautiful flowers that the Cuddy has to offer. Barbara is the President of the Botanical Society of Scotland and Mid-Lothian Plant Recorder for the Botanical Society of the British Isles.
15.00 - The Great Snail and Slug Hunt - If you missed the 13.30 event here is your second chance to join in this most entertaining and informative slug and snail hunt led by Adrian Sumner.
21.00 - Bats and Moths by the Water - Discover bats and moths beside the water, what are they doing and how do they do it? Experience how modern technology allows us to discover their fascinating and secret lives. Dress warmly, bring a torch and a bat detector if you have one. Suitable for children over 6. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and adult. Meet at the swimming pool carpark
