Flourishing Borders – Happiness Habits Cafés

Monday 22nd August, 2016

Flourishing Borders is a project that encourages good mental health and wellbeing among older people in The Scottish Borders. The project runs until March 2017.

o   We are going to run some “Happiness Habits Cafés” for older adults starting in September 2016.

o   You can hold a café wherever there are groups of older adults meeting, and these groups can be small or large. The café session will be for a couple of hours.

o   The café will be free, and may lead on to some organised activities and meetings depending on the feedback from the café guests.

o   The aim is to encourage peer support and to gather and share tips on ways to support our mental health and wellbeing.

o   To book a Happiness Habits Café, call the Outside the Box office on 0141 419 0451.
