Serving the whole community

William Laidlaw Memorial Hall Home Page

The William Laidlaw Memorial Hall is situated in the village of Bonchester Bridge just off the A6088 six miles from Hawick and 9 miles from Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders.

The Hall is used througout the year by various community groups.  The two main regular activities are Carpet Bowling on Monday nights, and Badminton on Wednesday nights.  There are regular events and concerts.

There is full disabled access with a ramp to the front door and a disabled toilet.

The main room seats 120 people and the hall is fully equipped with a state of the art sound system installed in 2010.  The building was modernised using a millennium lottery grant in 2000.  The news section of the website will list future events.

The website is still under development and the Hall Committee would like your views on what information should be available here.
