The Eyemouth & District Initiative Group
The Eyemouth District Initiative Group (TEADIG) was set up in December 2011 and the aims and objectives of the group are to improve and promote Eyemouth by:
- raising funds and sponsoring local groups and charities
- encouraging volunteering and local improvement projects
- organising festivals, events and other opportunities to promote Eyemouth & District
- co-ordinating with all local groups and charities and to support them and liaising with the Eyemouth Community Council
- practising good governance and following participatory and non-discriminatory principles.
In pursuit of these objectives and aims, TEADIG shall be non-political, non-sectarian and non-racial.
