Borders Writers' Forum AGM
At the AGM the following committee was elected -
Chair - Pamela Gordon
Acting Secretary - Oliver Eade
Treasurer - Russell Bruce
Committee - Bridget Khursheed, Raghu Shukla, Douglas Morrison, Dorothy Bruce
PLEASE NOTE - Oliver Eade has stepped forward as Acting Secretary, and until such time as a Secretary is appointed duties have been reallocated as follows
• The Treasurer (Russell Bruce) will collect, record and receipt subscriptions, assisted by other members of the committee at meetings of the Forum when members are making payments. Russell has informed members of this by email (including a new standing order option) and provided his contact details.
• Dorothy Bruce will arrange for printing of the BWF programme for 2012/13 and handle external publicity.
• Bridget Khursheed and Raghu Shukla will assist Dorothy with proof-reading, etc. as required in connection with the 2012 anthology. We are grateful for offers of help with this from other members.
• Members are encouraged to use the website for information in future. The newsletter will be discontinued.
The Committee are hopeful that these arrangements will provide a sufficient service to support members until a new Secretary is forthcoming. If any member feels able to take on the role (at any time during the year), please contact Pamela Gordon or any committee member.
