Borders Writers' Forum
The Scottish Borders, with its rolling hills, rivers and tower houses, is a beautiful area of Scotland, rich in social and cultural history. Tapping into this is its vibrant writing community, many of whom are members of the Borders Writers’ Forum.
BWF Membership has shown substantial growth in recent years and that has enabled us to expand our programme of activities. The work of our members covers the complete array of the written word; fiction non-fiction, short story, poetry, drama, journalism, historical, children's literature, biography.
From the novice to the experienced, the factual to the fictional, and from mythology to fantasy, it makes no difference, our members come together to socialise and skill share.
Meetings are held monthly throughout the year, except July and August. See the Programme page on the left, or Upcoming Events panel on the right. Our full 2012/13 programme will be added to the website following the AGM in March.
The Borders Writers’ Forum
