SPONSORED BIKE RIDE

Sunday 29th August, 2010

Members will be pleased to hear that Jonathan Crone, committee member for
the Kirkbride area, successfully completed a 100 mile sponsored bike ride
in the Lake District on Monday 16th. Jonathan decided to take part in the
bike ride as a tribute to Elliot Borthwick, who lost his brave fight
against cancer in June. Thanks to generous sponsorship from family,
friends and fellow hound trailers combined with the money raised from the
Rogersceugh trails in July, which were kindly sponsored by the Langholm
and Hawick Horse Racing Associations and the Langholm Common Riding
Committee, a magnificent total of £1,000 will go to Macmillan Cancer
Support
