We hold monthly meetings in floral art with National and Area demonstrative, who show their talents and inspire all our members. We also have a few practical evenings for beginners, enthusiasts, all levels and those who wish to watch. There is a popular sales table at our meetings which provides basic supplies, plus materials needed on practical evenings.
The evenings are rounded off with tea, biscuits and chat.
Our annual subscription in £30
The Club meets in St Andrews Leckie Bakehall, on the third Thursday of the months of September, October, November, December (Christmas demonstration at Peebles Hydro), February, March, Apirl and May. The May meeting is our AGM and Buffet Supper, with guest speaker. We have about 35 members and last year celebrated our diamond jubilee.
Each year we have been involved with the very popular Peebles Arts Festival, which is held at the end of August/beginning of September. We spend an afternoon in one of our local primary schools, plus attend the Saturday Craft Fair which is in the Burgh Hall, both give some hands on experience for floral arranging.
All visitors and new members are very welcome.
