Hermit's Wood - new trees plantedOver the past year, lots of work has been done in Hermit's Wood, clearing out old and dangerous trees, extensive tidying up and laying new paths. Over 200 new trees have been planted in Spring 2005 including: Alnus glutinosa, Prunus avium, Sorbus aucuparia, Salix caprea, Salix viminalis, Quercus robur, Fraxinus excelsior, Pinus sylvestris. The wood is now a very pleasant place to take a stroll. Have a look aroundYou'll find information about the Village Hall and how to book it for your event, the history of our village and lots more. We hope you enjoy it.
Peeping through the trees is one of the village's more modern homes still blending in well with the surrounding countryside
