Innerleithen Pipe Band's objectives are to advance the education of the public in the art of bagpipe playing and drumming by the presentation of public performances and other related ideas. Innerleithen Pipe Band is a recognized as a Scottish Charity (Number SCO32804)
The band seeks to:
a. promote pipe bands and the playing of pipe band music;
b. to form and maintain a competition pipe band
c to compete at the highest possible grade in competition;
d. to maintain membership of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association or its successor organisation
e. to provide tuition and education in the playing of bagpipes and drums.
f. To do all other things as are charitable in law for the attainment of these objects.
The band holds twice weekly practice sessions throughout the year.
The band participates in local festivals and gala days such as St Ronan's Border Games, Peebles Beltane and Walkerburn Summer Festival.
The band competes on the royal Scottish Pipe Band Association contest circuit, attending approx 12 contests per year all over Scotland at Grade 3 level.
The Ban is available for hire for corporate jobs, weddings and other such events.

Main Activities:

Innerleithen Pipe Band runs regular rehearsals for members to practice piping and drumming skills.

The Band plays in public throughout the summer months at local festivals and gala days, most notably St. Ronan's Border Games Week, Walkerburn Summer Festival, Peebles Beltane Festival and St Ronan's Tattoo.

The Band plays in pipe band competitions under the name Tweedvale Pipe Band, travelling all over Scotland and further afield to take part in
