Bowden Village Committee & Trustees of Bowden Common
Bowden Village acts as the constituted Community Council for Bowden but retains the name "Village Committee".
The Village Committee exists to serve the community and is keen that the voices and concerns of the residents of Bowden are heard.
Consultation with the community is vital if the committee is to serve effectively and meet the needs of all those in the village. Trustees of Bowden Common - the role of the Trustees is primarily to manage the Trust fund set up to ensure, in part, the future of the 26 acres of Bowden Common, entrusted to the village once the feuar's decided to abolish the system of Feu Duty.
