The Criminal Justice Service works to reduce the impact of crime on individuals, families and communities throughout the Scottish Borders. They provide advice and guidance to the victims of crime and offenders as well as offering a range of services to the courts including: providing Criminal Justice Social Work Reports (CJSWR); supervision of probation orders; supervision of community payback order (offences committed on or after 1 February 2011), supervision of community service order (offences committed before 1 Febraury 2011); throughcare - advice and assistance throughout a prison sentence or while on remand in custody; supervised release orders; supervision on parole and drug testing and treatment orders.
