Scottish Families Affected by Drugs

Scottish Families Affected by Drugs exists to support families across Scotland affected by others’ drug misuse and to raise awareness of the issues affecting them. We do this by providing information and support to families affected by drugs, family support groups and those working with them.

Our free and confidential helpline 08080 10 10 11 provides valuable support and information to family members every evening from 5pm to 11pm when many other services are closed.

Anybody who is concerned about someone they care about who is misusing drugs can contact us and if they want to talk, we will listen. We can also provide information and signposting to other services and contacts in their local area including Family Support Groups, and other valuable sources of advice and support.

We have also recently introduced a confidential email service helpline@sfad.org.uk as an alternative channel for family members to contact us.
