The aim of the Church of Scotland Guild is to invite and encourage women to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to develop their faith through worship, prayer and action. Some aspect of life is explored through an Annual Theme (2004-2005) "Dare to Care with Compassion" and a lot of money is raised for 6 chosen projects which span a 3 year period.
Everyone is welcome.
Activities include -
Six Winter Meetings (Oct-Mar) in Yetholm Church;
Fundraising Activities throughout the year to support various charities;
Largest fundraiser in Wauchope Hall, May Bank Holiday Saturday;
Joining with other guilds in the Parish.
