We are delighted to have been awarded the Keystone Level 1 Award and we were presented with the Certificate at the Scottish National Rural NetworkVillage Hall Event on 5th July.
The award recognises that our hall is very well run and we look after our volunteers, care for our building, putting the users of the Ark first and making sure activities happen in a safe and welcoming environment.
It feels great to know that we are making a good job of running our Hall.
Derek Russell, Charles Inness and Ian Jarvie picking up the Keystone award on behalf of Whitsome Village Hall Board.

Whitsome village has recently had a new wifi system installed so that we now have broadband speeds up to 6MB per second compared with the 0.5 MB per second previously available.
Thanks to the local residents who succeeded in attracting special LEADER funding to enable it to happen.
Whitsome Ark can now offer access to this Wifi to hall users which is an added attraction to an already attractive building.
