Open Monday to Fridays 8.30a.m. - 1.00p.m. Saturday until 12.30 and Sunday from 9.30 - 10.30 a.m.  

A warm welcome awaits you in Whitsome Ark Community Shop and Post Office.

We have a bright, airy and warm shop with the facility to drop in for a coffee and a blether. There is ample off road parking and even a bike rack for the more health conscious amongst us.

With a cheery, jovial reception, the postmaster, and a band of willing volunteers are doing sterling work behind the counter and offering the following:

•  Stationery
•  Newspapers and magazines
•  Cigarettes
•  Chocolate and sweets
•  Crisps
•  A range of household basics including flour, cereals, rice, pasta etc
•  A variety of tinned goods
• Chilled and frozen foods
•  A selection of hardware items including firelighters, logs an kindling

All are competitively priced and most importantly on your doorstep!

If we haven’t got it, please ask and we will see if we can source it for you.

We also act as agent for a dry cleaning business. "The customers went in two by two, hurrah! hurrah!
