If anyone is considering a walk out and about around the fort site at Trimontium between Leaderfoot to Newstead they'll be please to hear that Ian strimmed and removed a lot of the tremendous grass and plant growth caused by the dreadful weather we've been having here. A nice "thank you" in our local paper this week.
Ian, Tom and Bill also managed to get out and strim / rake the full length of Mill Meadow this week but their fun has been curtailed by the monsoons!
They had much more fun a couple of months ago hacking out some sections of the Leader Water Path - check out the satisfied smiles in the picture! This week they looked like 3 drowned rats in the rain....
