The sun shone for the February clean up and encouraged some new faces to come along and join us. We even had a visitor from America.
The most unusual bit of rubbish collected was this electric lawn mower which we found up at the area across from the Crossburn housing estate.
Tesco had made a big effort to clean up the bank at the side of the supermarket carpark. We hope that they will continue to do this very regularly to keep the area looking good for everyone who uses the pathway as well as preventing the rubbish being carried down to the Tweed.

It appears we need new waders as one of the volunteers demonstrates by emptying out the water hers had collected. She made a full recovery after a hot bath
This was just a part of the rubbish collection. There are three collection points - Dalatho, Cuddyside and at the Greenside car park.
