Social Work Services is piloting a new way to provide social care support.

It is called Self-Directed Support (SDS). 

SDS gives people who need social care - and their carers - the chance to be involved in arranging their own support.

We are now looking for interested people top join the SDS Citizens Reference Group

The group will meet every two months and will help to plan for the implementationof SDS. 

The first group will meet every two months and will help to plan for the implementation of SDS.

The first meeting will be held on 15 Setpember 2011 at 2pm in Langlee Community Centre, Marigold Drive, Galashiels, TD1 2LP
