We currently have a vacancy for four charity trustees who have an hour or two to spare each week. If you think you might like to help just give the centre a ring to speak to one of us.
We're always happy to talk about the charity and the pleasue we get from seeing so many rescued animals find loving homes. Please remember there are always many more animals out there looking for help than we are able to take into our care, so your assistance would make a big difference.
DIRECTIONS FROM GALASHIELS-
Take the A6091 out of Galashiels towards Melrose (and Borders General Hospital), then take the A68 towards Earlston. On entering Earlston there is a petrol station on the left, take the first left after it and follow the road around past the Rugby Club.
Go over a little hump backed bridge and we're on your left,. A sign with our name and a paw print is at the bottom of the drive.
Matilda is a black female cat who is around 4-6 years old. Poor Matilda was found as a stray and has had quite a few health problems and didn’t trust people too much. Now she is a really friendly, healthy girl who would love a home where she can get lots of attention and have a wander outside. Matilda has been at the centre now for 6 months now and would like a home where she is the only cat but could live with older children.
We are holding our Open Day again this year. Dog Show 2pm ...
